Pastor Randy Barr, Sr. was officially
installed as the Senior Pastor of Faith Chapel on November 20, 2005.
Pastor Barr was born in Florence County, South Carolina to Deacon
Robert Barr, Jr., and Mary Barr on November 01, 1962. He is married to
the beautiful Betty A. Barr, and they have three children Randy Jr.,
Natasha and Mary.
He was licensed to preach the Gospel
in September 1993 at New Life Mission COGIC, Virginia Beach, Virginia
where he served as an Associate Minister under the leadership of Bishop
Asberry James.
A man of vision, integrity,
experience, and wisdom, Pastor Barr has served in many capacities in
the church to include: Adult Sunday School Teacher, Adult Bible Study
Teacher, YPWW Teacher, Outreach Ministry, Evangelist Ministry, Pastor
Aide Board, and the Youth Department. He served as the assistant Pastor
of Faith Chapel from 2002 - 2004 under the
leadership of the late Bishop Frank Stallworth, Jr
Under Pastor Barr's leadership Faith
Chapel has experienced a significant growth in membership, and several
new ministries have been established to meet the growth and needs of
the people. God has given Pastor Barr a vision to build this house so
that we may serve His people. Several new projects are being
implemented to accomplish the vision given to our Pastor.
Pastor Barr humbly serves God and
the community through his faith, works, and various ministries through
the Faith Chapel Church. He often loves to say that "This is our
reasonable service". He is an appointed and anointed man of God whose
messages are received from God to inspire all of us to live our lives
to the fullest for God's Kingdom.
