2008 GOALS AND OBJECTIVES:
Habakkuk
2:2 – “Write the vision, and make it
plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it”.
To the committed, caring and
compassionate members of Faith Chapel Pentecostal Church, Inc., I want to thank
you for the honor of being your Pastor. We saw “New Dimensions” in 2007.
As we go forth into 2008, I look forward to the Lord bringing us into “Our
Due Season”.
In 2008 it is our goal to
accomplish the following goals and objectives:
Committed Christian Life:
- Prayer,
Fasting, Shut In, Study
- Attending
Services, Submission, Servitude
- Worshipping,
Word, Talking, Walking in line with the word of God.
15 New Converts and 30 New
Members:
· One on One Evangelism.
· Corporate Evangelism by SHOM
· New Year and Fall Revival
Expand the Youth and Young Adult
Ministries:
· Change every 2nd Sunday to be known as
Young People’s Day. The young people will consist of our Youth &
Young Adults
· Youth involved with by doing devotions, ushering,
singing, announcements
Ministries Project:
· Improve and update facilities by each auxiliary taken
on a project to be completed in the church for the year 2008
· Each project assumed would be identified so that there
is no duplication
Policies and Procedures for each
Ministries:
· Develop, write and implement procedures for each
ministry
Continue Caring Community
Involvement:
· Outreach service at Miracle Hill and donations to ECHO
ministries
· Continuation of an aggressive Evangelistic ministry
(SHOM)
· HOPE meeting
Increase the financial base:
· Increase tithers by 100% by teaching the biblical
principles of giving.
· Secure external funds through our 501c-3
Faithraising 2008:
· Raise 10,000.00 above our tithes and offering this year
· Thirty (30) members contributing a mere $25.00 above
their tithes and offering will give us $750.00 per month x 12 months will total
$9,000.0.
· My wife and I have committed to giving $1,000.00 above
our tithes and offering this year. This will give us a total of
$10,000.00 in the church treasurer above the normal tithes and offering.
At the end of the year that money can be used for something the church is
in need of or simply rolled into our savings.
FCPC 2007 IN REVIEW
- Six
souls saved and added to the Kingdom
Of God.
- 16
new members, 14 joined and 2 were born into the church family.
- First
H.O.P.E. meeting, an outreach event to the community was successfully held.
- An
aggressive evangelistic ministry was implemented by SHOM
- Developed
and Implemented new website.
- Men
Ministry held their first Men Conference.
- Women
Ministry held a Phenomenal Women retreat at the beautiful five star
Gaylord Resort in Nashville, Tn.
- New
Carpet was laid in the sanctuary. Pews were redone.
- Ceramic
tile was installed in the restrooms, hallway, and the “Frank Stallwoth,
Jr.” fellowship hall.
- Restrooms
had new equipment installed.
- Purchased
new musical equipment; drum shield, new keyboard and amp.
- Purchased
storage building.
